In 2004, Gloria Martín graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Seville, the same institution where she obtained her master’s degree in “Art, Idea and Production” in 2013.

Last year, she was an artist in residence at the MAAC [Maison d’Art Actuel des Chartreaux] in Brussels.

In 2013, she obtained the Talento Grant awarded by Seville Council and Valentín de Madariaga’s Foundation.

In 2009, she was awarded the scholarship in visual arts given by the Colegio de España in Paris and the Spanish Culture Ministry.

Gloria Martín has exhibited her works in numerous group shows, including Made in Spain at CAC Málaga (2015); Tierra Batida at El Butron (Seville, 2015); Beauty at MAD (Antequera, 2015); Des-aura at Galería silvestre Tarragona (2015); Fin de Fiesta à Seville (La escena artística actual frente a la resaca de sus propios mitos) at the Musée International des Arts Modestes (Sète ,France, 2014); ARTCONTEST at the Centrale for Contemporary Art (Brussels, 2014) and CALL 2013 at Galería Luis Adelantado (Valencia).

Among her most recent solo exhibitions, the most notable include: Taller de Moldes (2015) at the Centro de las Artes (Seville), Altar Menor (2015) at Galería silvestre (Madrid), and El traslado de la Imagen (2013-14) at Galería Birimbao (Seville) and at Sala Siglo XXI at the Museo de Huelva.

She has received awards given by institutions such as the Centro de Estudios Andaluces, the Guasch Coranty’s Foundation and the Instituto Andaluz de la Juventud.

Her works are part of several collections including Fundación Unicaja’s Collection, Fundación Cajasol’s Collection and the Spanish Culture Ministry’s Collection.
